I am observing a Carers Queensland (NDIS Local Area Coordination Partner) coordinator:
1. Giving priority to a line-managers expectations over the request of health professionals requesting a review of two granddaughter's services and obstructing the professional request
2. Giving advice about health service providers which is substantially incorrect - that a physiotherapist is equivalent to an Occupational Therapist
It is clear that Carers Queensland is this instance is choosing a gatekeeper role to prevent health professional requests ever reaching a reviewer
My two granddaughters are receiving suboptimal care as determined by their health professional carers. For two children with ASD, this jeopardises their development during critical formative years.

Review of the role of coordinators within Carers Queensland
The services services provided to my granddaughters through the NDIS are assisting both to develop well despite their neurodiverse challenges.
