What are your three main problems or concerns with the NDIS?

I am observing a LAC name (Local Area Coordination Partner) coordinator:
1. Giving priority to a line-managers expectations over the request of health professionals requesting a review of two granddaughter's services and obstructing the professional request
2. Giving advice about health service providers which is substantially incorrect - that a physiotherapist is equivalent to an Occupational Therapist
It is clear that LAC name is this instance is choosing a gatekeeper role to prevent health professional requests ever reaching a reviewer

How do these three main problems affect you and/or others?

My two granddaughters are receiving suboptimal care as determined by their health professional carers. For two children with ASD, this jeopardises their development during critical formative years.

What do you think are possible solutions to those problems?

Review of the role of LAC name as a Coordination Partner of the NDIS
Review of the role of coordinators within LAC name.

What parts of the NDIS are working well for you?

The services services provided to my granddaughters through the NDIS are assisting both to develop well despite their neurodiverse challenges.

Is there anything else that you would like to tell the NDIS Review?
