What are your three main problems or concerns with the NDIS?

Providers ripping off the system by not pricing services or charging at the max rate when they have no experience or quals.
Clients and families ripping off the system
No action from the fraud team and long wait times for investigation

How do these three main problems affect you and/or others?

As a support coordinator trying to implement the rules it means clients move their business elsewhere to unscrupulous providers who won’t question how they are spending money. It means reporting unscrupulous behaviour to the fraud team or planners and watching as nothing is fine and they are given more money to waste.

What do you think are possible solutions to those problems?

More staff for the fraud team
Minimum qualifications for workers
More trust between planets and support coordinators
Tighter restrictions for those providers and participants found to do the wrong thing

Is there anything else that you would like to tell the NDIS Review?

Stop unscrupulous providers and participants ripping off the system. Give more support coordination to help with this. Have a clearer expectation that support coordinators and providers report dodgy behaviour they see
