1. NDIS is primarily digitally focussed. Even this review asks primarily for online responses neither NDIS applications nor the review address the digital devide. I have to go to my local library to send faxes or emails to NDIS. My physical application deliveredto the LAC was lost. Subsequent email applications were not uploaded because my libraries email copier had no return address.
2. NDIS role requires a judgement to be made. NDIS staff rely on the internet to source information about disabilities. They determined I was "terminally ill" as my application said I had"stage four cancer". How would you feel if an NDIS officer Caroline S. said you were terminally ill. I hope to be alive many years.
3. Written judgements in correspondence do not reflect nor include "human judgementalism". I felt the assessor was applying Eugenics to my application as expressed in the book "The release of life devoid of human value".
I have had nightmares and suicidal thoughts and plans as a result of my NDIS application. The assessor assumed I had not been treated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This is not the case. My application was denied on the basis of the assumptions made by the assessor without them requesting further information
.
None. There is no possibilty of increased climate change impacts being assessed on disabilities. I have not been financially endowed enough in my lifestyle to cause climate change. In fact my lifestyle refuces the incidence of climate change and the increase of extreme weather events but light and heat sensitivity are denied by assessors and Heat and Light Summer Seansonal Affective Disorder is not at DSM disability and therfore not allowable under NDIS.
NDIS staff should not rely on google or internet interpretations. NDIS staff should always be aware of personal biases.
