What are your three main problems or concerns with the NDIS?

The reports required from my providers to prove I still need funding when my next review is due. Several hundreds of dollars a year is wasted on this - I have a lifelong disability so why do I need to prove this again every time my review is due?

Prices being increased by providers when they find out I'm covered by NDIS.

How do these three main problems affect you and/or others?

Additional stress coming up to review time to get reports done.

Stress and anxiety of going through yearly or 2 yearly reviews - there is always so much talk in the media of NDIS changes, which in turn raises anxiety about whether funding will be cut.

What do you think are possible solutions to those problems?

Believe my specialist when you have been told I have a lifelong disability that will never go away....don't make me constantly need to prove my disability.

Do not allow providers to charge different proces for NDIS participants. I pay for my reports separately - why should I also pay more for my appointments because it's being funded by NDIS?

What parts of the NDIS are working well for you?

Self management and the app makes it easy to claim and it's easy to see where I'm at with my budget.

The assistance enabled by access to the NDIS enables me to continue working and leading a relatively normal life.
