Help NEDA tell the Review how to improve the NDIS

The National Ethnic Disability Alliance want to hear from CALD PARTICIPANTS

The Review panel are committed to putting the people back at the centre of the NDIS and want to hear from the whole of the diverse disability sector.

Throughout July and August NEDA (National Ethnic Disability Alliance) with support from the NDIS Review, are hosting a series of online working groups for CALD participants and their families.

NEDA want to hear from CALD participants and their families interested in joining an online working group to share their lived experiences, and discuss ideas and views on how to improve the NDIS.

What has been your experience with:

  • Applying to access the NDIS
  • Getting an NDIS plan
  • Implementing that plan

These online working groups are an opportunity for you to tell us about your lived experiences as a CALD participant and to share your ideas and thoughts on what should be done to make access and planning in the NDIS better in the future.

Each working group will focus on the following topics:

  1. Planning & outcomes
    Wednesday 19 July 2-2:30pm
  2. Quality & Safety framework
    Wednesday 26 July 2-2:30pm
  3. Housing Supports
    Wednesday 2 August 2-2:30pm
  4. Workforce and providers
    Wednesday 16 August 2-2:30pm
  5. Mainstream and Tier 2 supports
    Wednesday 23 August 2-2:30pm

To register your interest in participating in an online working group please contact Dominic Golding at dominic@neda.org.au or send an SMS to 0491 201 555 with your name and contact details.
