Don’t put children on the NDIS have an early intervention program for supports. With the main goal is that the children don’t work towards not needing the supports. Obviously there will be some children that will continually need supports and they are the ones who should progress to the NDIS first.
All providers should be registered and all workers should have a qualification of at least a certificate 3 in individual support.
We have so many workers out there with no qualifications and are earning more then skilled professionals.
Maybe teach people how to set goals. All goals should be revisited at every plan meeting. They should not be cut and paste from previous plan
There should be more options for older participants who have a psychosocial illness can access housing through NDIS
